Getting Started

Our team approach focuses on gradual, steady weight loss

We’ll begin your weight loss program with an analysis of key base line indicators to help us get to know your body.  Then we calculate the maximum amount of weight you’ll be able to lose safely over a specific period of time.  Our programs rely on these diagnostic evaluations:

  • A General Physical and Medical History Review – To make certain our program is right for you.
  • Lab Work - A complete panel of 28 tests (including thyroid, glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides) to ascertain if any problems exist which require special attention.
  • EKG – To determine if there are any heart related abnormalities that would be affected
    by your weight reduction plan.
  • Body Measurements: Taken with the latest technology to gauge your body’s metabolic rate and calculate water, muscle, and fat composition.
  • Weekly Weigh-Ins and Blood Pressure Checks: To track your progress.

Help Along the Way

We make sure you lose fat, maintain muscle, and increase your metabolic rate.

Using the results of your tests as a guide, we create a customized program to help you lose weight using regular grocery store food, calorie shakes, bars, and science-based tools that may include diet medications, appetite suppressants, and specially formulated supplements from our in-house pharmacy.

Custom-Compounded Diet Medications, Appetite Suppressants & Weight Loss Supplements

Our compounding pharmacy creates customized weight loss supplements designed to provide improved energy and mood with decreased appetite.

Depending on the amount of weight to be lost, prescriptions may include:

B Vitamins & Lipotropic Compounds

Key to the function of the brain and nervous system, B vitamins are associated with improved energy levels, mood, and mental clarity.

lipotropics are necessary for the maintenance of a healthy liver and increase the burning of exported fat for additional energy.

These amino acids help catalyze the break down of fat during metabolism in the body by promoting or encouraging the export of fat from the liver. Including essential nutrients such as Choline, Inositol, and Methionine, and supplements such as L-Carnitine and Adenosine.

Carbidlopa

Carbidlopa is associated with many brain functions including behavior and cognition, motor activity, motivation and reward, sleep, mood, attention, learning, memory, and problem solving. Chromium picolinate: aids in reducing, insulin resistance and glucose intolerance, and has been suggested to have antidepressant effects.

hCG and Diet

The diet followed in conjunction with hCG therapy should be low in calories (less than 700 per day). While this may seem low, fatty tissue is a form of stored energy, and patients experience markedly decreased hunger with use of hCG. It is likely that vitamins and/or nutritional supplements will be recommended in conjunction with an hCG program. Best results in hCG diets are dependent on a patient’s ability to comply with dietary restrictions. Patients must follow the diet plan strictly for best results.

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone produced by women during pregnancy.  HCG converts fat to calories for the baby and speeds up the mother's metabolism. We believe it can do the same thing for people who want to lose weight. Research indicates that small, daily injections of HGC can result in the loss of 1 to 2 pounds per day or more when accompanied by a very low calorie diet and an exercise program prescribed by your doctor.

L-Theanine

This amino acid has been found to decrease mental and physical stress. L-Theanine is associated with increased feelings of relaxation, improved cognition, and increased immune response.

Phentermine

Similar to an amphetamine, Phentermine is a stimulant that works as an appetite suppressant on the central nervous system.  Along with diet, exercise, and behavioral modification, Phentermine is used to treat obesity in people with risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and/or diabetes.

Topamax

Topamax® (topiramate) is a prescription medication used to treat various conditions that affect the nervous system like epilepsy and migraine headaches. One of its most common side effects is weight loss which, in recent years, has prompted many medical weight loss clinics to prescribe it for that very purpose.

5-HTP (5-Hvdroxytriptophan)

5-HTP is associated with elevated mood, decreased appetite, and improved sleep.

"Let me begin by saying I have had a weight problem since I was 7 years old. I had polio and was unable to walk or run for over a year. People were so kind to me by sending cookies and candy. I developed a love of sweets. I am now 64 years old and still love sweets. But the difference now, after being on the weight loss program at Victory Clinic, is that I have learned to control it and the importance of exercise.

I had the wonderful support of Meg and Sharon guiding me through my many moods, tears, questions, successes and body changes. I would recommend this program to anyone because of the encouragement you get and the diet itself as well as the guidance on eating correctly and exercise. It saved my mental and physical well being."
