Platelet-rich plasma therapy, or PRP, is finding its way into cosmetic treatment areas because of its ability to accelerate healing. This same acceleration has found a place in rejuvenating skin and promoting hair growth. At the Victory MedSpa, our aestheticians have extensive experience using PRP therapy to address your cosmetic concerns. To find out how PRP can help you, call to schedule a consultation or appointment today.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, therapy is fast gaining in popularity in the cosmetic medicine world. It’s helpful to step back and take a look at the science to understand how PRP works.
Your blood is made up of three components — white cells, red cells, and platelets — all of which are contained in your plasma. The main function of your platelets is to clot your blood when necessary. Your platelets also contain hundreds of proteins that act as growth factors, which aid in healing.
During a PRP treatment, your blood is removed, and your platelets are isolated using a centrifuge. The specialists at the Victory MedSpa take this concentrate and add it back into your plasma, creating plasma that has 5-10 times the amount of platelets as found in normal plasma. They inject this concentrate back into the areas you want to treat.

Our PRP Facial rejuvenates your skin using your own cells which have been derived from the serum portion of the blood, containing renewing platelets. The platelets contain high levels of growth factors, which, when applied to the skin, will stimulate cell turnover, making your face assume a more youthful glow.
PRP HAIR RESTORATION
Stimulate hair re-growth with our PRP Hair Restoration services. The plasma, rich in platelets, is injected directly into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles. Just like with our facial, these cells with renewing properties will then promote restorative growth. Contact the Victory MedSpa today to find out more about PRP Hair Restoration.
